Raging Waters San Jose is Northern California’s largest water park. Over 23 acres of rides and attractions make it a popular destination for family fun. From relaxing rides to adrenaline-filled free falls, there’s something for everyone at Raging Waters! The park is located in East San Jose off the Capitol Expressway near the Eastridge Transit Center and is open from mid-May to mid-September.
The youngest members of your clan will love the play areas and activity pools. The entire family can check out the Wave Pool, Slide Creek Falls, and the Endless River, while the bravest of the bunch can take on Shotgun Falls, the Barracuda Blaster, and Bombs Away. On the website, rides and slides are rated according to their thrill level, so you can decide which ones you’re prepared to take on before heading to the park.
Raging Waters is well-equipped with plenty of restrooms, changing areas, and lockers. If you forgot anything at home like sunscreen, goggles, or towels, duck into the Oasis Beach Supplies shop near the main gate.
When you’re feeling waterlogged and want to take a break from the SoCal sunshine, you can rent a private cabana and enjoy VIP food and beverage service. If you’re not lucky enough to snag a cabana (they’re in limited supply), you can take shelter from the sun under the covered dining areas in Main Plaza.
Special events and performances are scheduled throughout the summer on the Lagoon Stage and in Tiki Gardens.
