A yoga studio for everyone and anyone

Whether you're a beginner or advanced, the YYOGA studios welcome you. YYOGA focuses on alignment and the safe practice of yoga.

Where it all began

Founded by Terry McBride in 2007, YYOGA was started with a desire to create community spaces for people to connect to both themselves and others. Terry wanted to make the world a better place through yoga and the power of mindfulness and that's why the YYOGA studios feel like such a powerful community. Today, there are a total of 12 locations within B.C. and Ontario. YYOGA was built on the belief that strong-knit communities and yoga have the power to change the world and they have been doing this since day one by helping people live healthier, happier and more fulfilled lives.

If you're looking for something specific or something new, you can likely find a class at YYOGA. While other studios may specialize in their yoga practices, YYOGA provides a variety of different techniques. Ranging from slow stretch to power, classes include wall Hatha, pilates fusion with resistance bands, hot yoga, power yoga, yin, and flow. Here's a sneak peek at a meditation class run by a YYOGA instructor from the studio's YouTube page:

With over 200 instructors in total, we're sure you'll find an instructor that you love! Remember Carolyn from One Yoga for the People? She also teaches power, flow, Hatha, and meditation at YYOGA. Narcity, a local blog, has also given praise to Andrea Klein as one of their favorite instructors at YYOGA. Opposite to Carolyn's style, she provides a hot yoga class featuring loud music, high energy, and good vibes.
