Yuk Yuk's Toronto

Summertime, or anytime, you can always use a laugh. The Yuk Yuk's Comedy Club in Toronto provides a night of comedy at an affordable price, usually ranging from C$5-C$20. Yuk Yuk's Toronto was opened in 1976 in downtown Toronto by founder and comic Mark Breslin. It was the original Yuk Yuk's Comedy Club; since then, 16 new Yuk Yuk's have opened from coast to coast all across Canada. Yuk Yuk's Toronto provides stand-up by established comedy stars, rising talent that they have vetted for quality, and even students in the Humber College School of Comedy, who "perform for your laughs and good grades."

Famous Alumni & Headliners

„In the mid-1970s, there was this huge boom of stand-up comedy throughout North America. I went to see a show at a club called Yuk Yuk's, in Toronto, and I was just fascinated. I ended up coming back for amateur hour on a Monday at midnight and got up there without any thought as to what might come of it.“ —Howie Mandel

Yuk Yuk's is known for bringing in and for developing world-famous comedians. Many comics have had their start and honed their craft within the club, only to go on to superstardom. Some well-known alumni include Norm MacDonald, Jim Carrey, Rick Moranis, Tom Green, Howie Mandel, Russell Peters, and more. As for famous headliners, Jerry Seinfield, David Letterman, Gilbert Gottfried, Jay Leno, Tim Allen, Bill Hicks, Sandra Bernhard, and Robin Williams have all performed here. Prominent acts continue to be drawn to Yuk Yuk's, with performances happening all the time.
