“The Insider's Guide” Of Where To Go And What To Do In Chicago
Located straight down the road from Wrigley Field, Wrigleyville North is perfect for a post-Cubs game dive bar night. You can find the bar inside a typical Northside brick building, which you’ll recognize from their many neon signs laid across the window panes. This is a classic Chicago sports bar, and you’ll have exactly that experience.
Walking in, you’ll see banners across the wall in support of the many Chicago sports teams, as well as plenty of TVs to watch the games during their seasons. The beers are what you expect from a sports bar, from Budweiser to Coors, but are all very affordable. The bar also offers shots and other cocktails but be aware that they accept cash only! There is an ATM inside, though, and a Chase bank down the street if you run out of cash. But there’s more to Wrigleyville North than just drinks, especially when it comes to the neighborhood scene. Inside, you will also find a jukebox with music from the good old days, as well as a stage where you can find local musicians performing. They also do open mic nights and comedy shows to keep you entertained. All the way in the back, they have a pool table you can use for $1.50 per game.
Wrigleyville North is open ever day until 2 AM but does not serve food so fill your belly up with peanuts and hot dogs during the game and head to the bar after!
