Get ready to be wowed - Grand Rapids never fails to surprise visitors with the huge variety of things to see and do here: World-renowned art, museums and historic sites for cultural vacationers. World-class golf, recreation and beaches for nature lovers. Incredible farm-to-table restaurants for foodies and wholesome "playcation" fun for families.
If you find yourself in the Eastown neighborhood among a small mob of people on the sidewalk, there’s a solid chance they are waiting to get into Wolfgang’s Restaurant. Despite the typical line that can be found extending out the door, locals say the experience is worth the generally short wait time.
As Grand Rapids’ first restaurant to serve breakfast all day, Wolfgang’s is a family-owned eatery offering an eclectic menu. Options range from unique takes on the classic Eggs Benedict, skillets galore, steel-cut oatmeal to chocolate and peanut butter pancakes and a laundry list of omelets. With roots dating back to the 1900s, the building Wolfgang's is located was once a trolley barn owned by the Grand Rapids and Reeds Lake Railroad Company.
Hearty meals here come with a healthy side of good humor. Your coffee mug might just proclaim "Nerds rule!" or "Good morning, handsome." Menus parody magazine covers and movie posters, all featuring current owner Matt Wolfgang. Hop on over to the website and hit the Tell My Wife! tab if you want to give Matt feedback about your awesome breakfast here. (Bonus points for telling on Matt: You'll be entered into a drawing for a Wolfgang's gift certificate.)
Unless it's Thanksgiving or Christmas, Wolfgang's is open and ready to satisfy that hankering for pancakes or a good old fashioned skillet. Who says breakfast is only for the morning? We've got it here all day, every day.
