The Winter Market at Rio Grande, a project of Urban Food Connections of Utah, will return to Downtown SLC on November 7th at the Rio Grande Depot.
Browse local art and crafts from 20 artisans plus the freshest produce in the state like farm fresh kale, apples and more. Even if you don’t plan on picking up any produce or handmade gifts, experiencing the sights, sounds and smells of the Winter Market at Rio Grande is an experience worth having.
The Winter Market helps foster business growth and new economic activity by sustaining an environment for small business incubation and job creation. More than a dozen farmers market vendors have grown and transitioned to become brick-and-mortar businesses. Their transition to brick and mortar creates sustainable local jobs in the community, allows for a wider array of diversity in the small business community by offering an affordable and lower-risk means to gain entry into the desired retail markets, allowing them to grow at a reasonable pace with less capital investment, and be set up for long-term success.
Building a dynamic and diverse community that is the regional center for culture, commerce and entertainment. #DowntownSLC
