This Dog-Friendly Area is located in Wicker Park between the intersection of Wicker Park and Evergreen. The park is also located across from a Pritzer Public School.
At this park, your dog will be able to interact with other dogs in the area and you'll get to mingle with other owners. Wicker Dog-Friendly Area is a fenced area with enough space to run and provides a drinking fountain for the dogs. On a hot day, there's a regular size container and extendable hose to rinse down your dog from the heat. Trees are also fenced inside which provide a pleasant, relaxing touch to the area. The park is free to use and is run by the Chicago Park District. The enclosed area has seats for owners as their dogs run free.
Wicker Dog-Friendly Area is opened from 6 AM to 11 PM. The park is a popular one so expect it to be busy! If you are really a big fan of this dog-friendly place, the Chicago Park District store sells a mug, magnet, and tote with the area' name on it. Proceeds go to maintaining the park.
