This tasting tour is a fully narrated, 2.5-hour journey through the West Village, Dallas’s renowned shopping and dining district. Guests will tour a variety of local restaurants while learning about the culture and history of this trendy Uptown neighborhood. Your knowledgeable and entertaining guide will meet you at the Rustic and take you on a leisurely stroll of less than a mile, broken up into short walks with stops at 4-6 restaurants. Your tour group is treated to generous tasting portions at each restaurant—so generous that many guests have suggested that you skip breakfast and show up hungry.
Guests with dietary restrictions can make those known when purchasing their tickets. Food Tours of America, the host of this culinary hop, can accommodate most requests with enough advance notice.
Your ticket includes a tasting plate from the selected restaurants and a ride back down McKinney Avenue on an antique trolley at the end of the tour. Drinks are not included in the price, but guests over the age of 21 have the option of adding a two or three drink alcohol pairing to their tour package. The pairings are designed to complement the food that is served and might include beer, wine, or creative cocktails.
Gift certificates are available, so grab a few for your fellow foodies and contact Food Tours of America to arrange a public or private tour of some of the best restaurants in West Village. Public tours can accommodate up to 16 people, and arrangements can be made for private tours of 8 to 100 guests.
