Tripping Animals all started with a passion for homebrew and a dream. In 2011, the crew started homebrewing and growing their passion for craft beer in their home country of Venezuela. After years of brewing experimentation, traveling to breweries all around the world, and moving to Miami, in 2018, Daniel Chocron, Ignacio Montenegro, Iker Elorriaga, and Juan Manuel Torres founded Tripping Animals Brewing Company in the heart of Doral, Florida. Check out the guys at Tripping Animals talk about their inspiration and give some insight into their beers...
For a young brewery, Tripping Animals has been very prolific with their creations. One of the favorites is the Moskittle, a fruited sour ale with hersbrucker hops, pilsner pale wheat malts, as well as added tangerine, lime, passionfruit, and peach. Another must-try is the Chilling is my business and business is good, a double India Pale Ale with flavors of purple carrot, honeydew, and vanilla. The tasting room at Tripping Animals is family-friendly and open to people of all ages. There is a large selection of board games, ping pong tables, and a pool table as well as our “Animal’s Roots and Rock Garden” a large patio where dogs are welcome as well. The Tasting Room is open Wednesday-Sunday and will fill up 32oz growlers.
There are a lot of great breweries in Miami these days, but few are as distinct and inventive as Tripping Animals. You can feel the passion of the founders when you taste their concoctions, so if you are a beer lover do yourself a favor and belly up to the bar.
