“The Insider's Guide” Of Where To Go And What To Do In Chicago
Sometimes you want the authentic dining experience, but other times you want something quick and cheap. But why should you have to choose? Three Wheels Noodles combines the best of both worlds.
A sister location to the Logan Square classic, Trike Thai and Sushi, Three Wheels is a casual restaurant that serves an array of Thai stir fry and noodle dishes. This little diner is the perfect place for a lunch break. While Trike is great for a wide variety of Asian dishes, Three Wheels has a more focused menu, giving diners an authentic taste of Thailand.
The khao soi, yellow curry, is quite addicting. It’s a little spicy, so wash it down with some Thai iced tea. And any Thai noodle shop worth their weight in chili powder will have decent pad thai. Luckily, Three Wheels can keep its credibility as their pad thai is simply amazing. The decor helps the atmosphere. The murals that fill the walls from floor to ceiling are reminiscent of those you’d see on the streets of Bangkok. Three Wheels feels like you are eating street food after wandering around all day in a foreign city—proving that delicious food is universal.
They are closed Mondays and Tuesdays but open at 5 PM during the rest of the week.
