The Ritz Ybor

If you're looking for a venue small enough to be intimate but large enough to attract big names in the music industry, then this is the spot for you. Originally built as a theater in 1917, the Ritz Ybor maintains a vintage feel and ambiance throughout the space. After undergoing a $2 million renovation, it officially opened on June 26, 2008. With both modern and old-school styles combined into one, the Ritz Ybor is a unique musical experience.

Large Auditorium Space

With three different rooms, several full-service bars, a grand foyer, extensive catering services, and state-of-the-art lighting and sound systems, the Ritz Ybor is a powerhouse of a concert venue. At a size of over 17,000 square feet, you won't feel claustrophobic upon entry. The Ritz Ybor brings in large acts, such as Lady Gaga, Ben Harper, Tiesto, Owl City and more. However, they also bring in smaller acts like local indie bands. Tickets to concerts are general admission only and there is no seating available.

Special Events & More

Beyond just music, they also host special events and private parties. They have held high-profile events such as the annual Gorrie Gala, the BET Black Carpet Party, the annual Ken Walters' Celebrate Sinatra event, and the 2009 Maxim Super Bowl Party. Smaller events are also common at the Ritz Ybor. Bah mitzvahs, weddings, birthday parties, banquets, fundraisers, and bridal showers have all taken place here. If you're looking for a good time at one of the most respected venues in Tampa, then be sure to stop by the Ritz Ybor.
