Digital Storytelling and Visitor Analytics for City and Cultural Institutions
Unlike your stadium and arena venues, the Jazz Estate has been serving up live jazz music and intimate vibes for more than forty years. When you walk in you'll feel like you just stumbled into another neighborhood cocktail spot, but don't be fooled by the ambiance. The Jazz Estate has hosted big names in Jazz such as Joe Henderson, Cedar Walton, Rod Rooney and more. They host a variety of nationally renowned and locally known bands. Check out the local Milwaukee band, Mrs. Fun, performing at the Jazz Estate below.
The building has been around since the late 1800s, and it has been hosting jazz acts since the 1970s. One popular backstory claims that one of the owners went off to World War II and brought back with him a love of jazz music. And the rest is history.
Thanks to a recent ownership change and renovation, you can now enjoy your tunes with a craft cocktail or two. While they always have the classic cocktails, there is a seasonal rotation of drinks sure to inspire you to become a repeat visitor.
Like any good hidden gem, space may be sparse here. The Jazz Estate is a narrow venue, which means every seat in the house is good, especially with their top-notch acoustics.
