The Tucson Botanical Gardens, a tranquil oasis in the heart of Tucson, strives to be recognized and respected as the best small public garden in America.

Nuestro Jardin

Nuestro Jardin honors Tucson’s traditional Mexican-American neighborhood gardens with a charming and colorful display of flowers, trees, herbs, and objects commonly seen in barrio gardens.

Re-use & Recycle

A lot of what makes the Barrio Garden special is the up-cycling of items to be used as planters and garden decorations, like old tires, bedsprings, and bottles. This garden is one of a kind and was chosen as one of 14 gardens to be re-created in D.C. at the US Botanic Gardens.
