Island Themed Lodging, Close to Everything

Tahitian Inn is centrally located in South Tampa; it's only a short drive across the Old Tampa Bay into St. Petersburg; and minutes from downtown and the Tampa Riverwalk. Its 82 rooms are decorated with an island theme, including Polynesian shutters, porcelain flooring, and dark wood furniture. The Tahitian Inn is a simple, affordable, locally-owned, and convenient option while exploring Tampa and St. Petersburg.

Loving Life at the Torch Bar

The ambiance at the Tahitian Inn stands out above the more standard corporate-owned chain hotels. It has a cute outdoor pool area with a raised deck, and the water is heated for year-round use. Torch Bar is onsite and serves poolside, island-themed cocktails. The drink list includes Orange Krush with vodka, orange juice, lemon-lime soda, and triple sec; and the Cucumber Freshness with cucumber vodka, strawberry, cucumber, and soda. All of the refreshing cocktails on the drink menu are reasonably priced, and everything tastes better while relaxing in the sun beside a pool.
