The Times Square Alliance is proud to continue to work to improve and promote Times Square, so that it retains the creativity, energy and edge that have made it an icon for entertainment, culture and urban life for over a century.
Celebrating more than 17 years on restaurant row, Swing 46 keeps swing music and dance alive in the big apple.
Swing 46's menu is traditional American Fare with a modern twist, each dish carefully prepared with a dedicated saucier.
Everything is homemade, all the sauces, all the dressings and even the bread is baked fresh daily!
Entertainment includes dining, dancing and cocktails. (Note that a Music Charge of $15 to $20 applies for seating in the ballroom.)
An evening at Swing includes a dance lesson, a dedicated swing DJ, and a series of live bands.
Some nights things get really crazy - when there's murder afoot!
Don't worry - you can come and enjoy the venue without any additional music charges.
Just sit at the bar or on the front patio, sip some cocktails, and soak in the New York City landmark.
In June of ’97 original owner Judith Lalor first opened the doors to SWING46 Jazz and Supper Club. Her idea was to create a dinner dance club with a focus on the fabulous music of the “Swing Era” that ran from the late 1930′s thru the 1940′s to the mid 1950′s.
After working at Swing 46 for ten years, John Akhtar has taken over the reigns. But not to worry - nothing has changed.
