Skyfall Lounge is famous for its panoramic view of the Vegas strip. Located on the 64th floor of the Delano Hotel in the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, and directly across from the Rivea, guests gaze out at the illuminated movement of nightlife against a backdrop of clear desert sky and the darkness of the Sierra Nevadas in the distance. Reflective architecture such as The Luxor pyramid amplifies the scene, adding to the depth of light at night. Set your camera effect to “fishbowl” and see what happens!
If the view alone isn’t enough to charm silence into even the pickiest Instagrammer or traveler on the hunt for adventure, the 22-page menu will set a smile on those lips. They serve classics like beer, wine, and sparkling wine, but also experiment with new flavor combinations. These drinks change regularly to keep the menu fresh.
The cocktail du jour menu includes drinks like the Lost in Translation with tequila, apricot liqueur, sauvignon blanc, moscato, and notes of citrus and vanilla. Dust Storm is a blend of three rum varieties, campari, passion fruit, and lime. Although the drinks available on this menu will change from time to time, each cocktail is expertly crafted to balance flavors while presenting a work of art for the guests to enjoy.
Access to this view comes with a price. Be prepared to spend some serious cash at the Skyfall Lounge. Prices for bottles of spirits rise into the multiple hundreds of dollars, and even the beer and the wine is more expensive than what you will find on the casino floor. Dress smart. The dress code is “Nightlife Attire,” but not pajamas.
