It's no secret that Savannah, Georgia is one of the most romantic cities in the United States. The Antebellum architecture and trees draped in Spanish moss make you feel like you've been dropped into a scene straight out of the movie, The Notebook. After the chaos of a wedding, Savannah is where honeymooners can go to decompress and reconnect. The city's pace is charmingly slow and you'll find locals to be welcoming and easygoing. Couples can stroll through Savannah's Historic District to see all the historic mansions owned by noteworthy locals or head to the City Market to do some shopping. Interestingly enough, many couples like to take photos in the famous Bonaventure Cemetery under the dreamy Spanish moss-canopy. Located in the heart of the city, the Forsyth Park Fountain is also one of the most-visited attractions in Savannah. If you're looking for beach time, take a ride to Tybee Island for a few hours of sunbathing and beachcombing. Consider ending the day by feasting on some classic Southern comfort foods.
