“The Insider's Guide” Of Where To Go And What To Do In Chicago

Rotofugi is not your average toy shop and they take great pride in that. It is a collector’s toy shop for those serious about unique gadgets. They have a selection of designer plush and vinyl figures as well as an art gallery.

This Lincoln Park store came about in 2004 and is located in a beautiful vintage building that is hard to miss. It has grown to become one of the world’s premier sellers of designer toys from artists around the globe. There’s tons of plush, figures, and pop culture collectibles that you can choose from, so there is definitely a little something for everyone. Not sure what to get? The store has plenty of blind boxes and mystery bags to surprise yourself with something special! You can trust the delightful staff here to make sure you’re bringing home something that you will love. Next to the store is Rotofugi's gallery that has monthly art exhibits by local and nationally known artists. Owned by a husband and wife duo and managed by the extraordinary DC Cathro, a Chicago-based playwright, actor, and director, the creativity pulsing through the establishment never stops.

You’ll ask yourself, “who makes this stuff?” as you check out at the register. While of course kids will enjoy this store, it is also very much for adults and it will certainly bring out their inner child.
