Originally founded in 1987 as the tourism arm of the Scottsdale Area Chamber of Commerce, Experience Scottsdale became a standalone organization in 2001. The organization has more than 40 full- and part-time employees, along with a volunteer board of directors composed of local hospitality and tourism industry leaders.
At Roaring Fork, you’ll enjoy wood-fire cooking that combines elegant flavors with a rugged, cowboy edge in specialties like the cedar plank salmon, braised beef short ribs and green chili mac & cheese. Inspired by the campfire cookstoves of the American frontier, Roaring Fork prepares all its meats, from blackened redfish to steaks to bacon-wrapped pork tenderloin, over a wood-fired rotisserie, imparting an irreplicable smoky flavor to every bite.
Roaring Fork also boasts an ample space perfect for events (it holds 110 people!), a climate-controlled patio, rustic, Old West-chic decor complete with light fixtures made from deer antlers and an impeccable team that are ready to make your night, if it's a date, a birthday, or whatever else, unforgettable. More antlers show up over the bar, where professional bartenders make drinks like huckleberry margaritas and Adult Arnold Palmers.
Speaking of drinks, Roaring Fork might be best known for its happy hour. With appetizer-size bar bites like freshly made guacamole, green chili pork with buttered flour tortillas, and the famous Roaring Fork "Big Ass Burger," the menu will fill you up as the cocktails herald the end of the workday.
