The start of a new year is a big milestone, and Dallas is one of the best cities to ring in the new year. The Reunion Tower is at the center of Metroplex’s celebrations. In addition to providing festive holiday programming, the city’s most recognizable landmark offers the only 360-degree fireworks show in the Central Time Zone.
Get a sneak peek at the New Year's Eve Fireworks:
The Reunion Tower Over The Top is one of the largest shows of its kind in the Central time zone that features fireworks first from 560 feet above ground. The dazzling eight-minute display will have 5,000 pyrotechnic special effects take to the sky and the gorgeous downtown Dallas skyline will serve as its backdrop.
The Reunion Tower lawn will be closed to the public due to security and safety requirements, but there are other ways you can enjoy the show. Businesses around the city will host watch parties for folks who want to ring in the New Year with a great view of the fireworks around Reunion Tower, and you can find partnered locations via the link below. If you want to watch away from the city, some recommended vantage points are on the west side of the Trinity River, along the levees and in Trinity Overlook Park. Folks can watch the display from these spots while also listening to the radio simulcast on NOW 102.9 FM. Those who are more interested in watching comfortably from home can watch via local news broadcasts and Facebook streaming.
