Queen City Q

Blending the flavors of the Eastern, Western, and Southern regions of the Carolinas, The Q has developed its own style of barbeque recipes. Their mission is to serve the best meats, cooked low and slow. There is also a variety of different sauces available at each table. This way, you can have your BBQ finished exactly how you please.

The story of how Queen City Q got its start is quite interesting. A group of local guys who met on social media organized some meet-ups to play some basketball. Eventually, conversations began about the possibility of starting a business together. The idea of establishing a BBQ restaurant became a reoccurring theme. Three months later, Queen City Q opened and a mere three months after that, Charlotte Magazine named it the Best BBQ in their annual BOB Awards.

If you're curious about the menu, fan favorites include their signature pulled pork and brisket sandwiches. For sides, guests particularly enjoy the macaroni and cheese, sweet potato fries, and collard greens. Another option is to take advantage of their pulled pork taco specials. They always come highly recommended. Queen City Q offers outdoor seating and features daily lunch specials. Cover photo courtesy of Queen City Q.
