Planta Queen is one of four Planta restaurants fronted by Chef David Lee, Steven Salm, and David Grutman. Planta Queen sticks to the brand's original philosophy of serving 100% plant-based food but this time, with an Asian focused menu. Meals here are served family-style, which is typical in Asian cuisine, and gives you the chance to try multiple dishes.
Before you even get to the food, the atmosphere here will transport you to another part of the world. The decor features traditional Chinese courtyards and dragon murals amongst other Asian-inspired architectural pieces. . Want to see the chefs in action? The restaurant offers seating at the chef's counter. As for its bar and lounge, the polished marble bar and lounge is a go-to-spot in downtown Toronto. Sip on a few cocktails like a refreshing Kombucha Mojito or a Mez-Cal Me Maybe amidst stunning copper mesh chandeliers.
