The Wheel at Icon Park Orlando

Ferris wheels are always fun to watch and ride because from there, you always get wonderful views. Well, this is the case of the one located in Orlando that was first opened in 2015 under the name Orlando Eye. It was re-branded a year later by Coca-Cola but in 2019, it became the Wheel at ICON Park Orlando.

With 30 capsules that accommodate up to 15 people, the Wheel is 400 feet tall, a perfect hight to be able to see Central Florida. Twenty-two minutes is the time that passengers will spend from start to end, enough to take wonderful pictures of the city or even selfies to unload on Instagram. It is a great spot to celebrate special and romantic occasions like anniversaries or even proposals.

Make sure to bring your camera and be ready to know what it feels to be up in the air. Don't worry if you are afraid of heights! You will feel very safe in each capsule.

The hours of operation are Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m and Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 a.m. However, the best time to get an Instagrammable picture is when the sunset starts to happen. The colors of the sky are beautiful and this Wheel seems to be art placed in there.

Check out this video to find out how the Wheel looks at night!
