When you think about a museum that combines science and industry, what first comes to mind is a place where everything is interactive and where definitely you will have a hands-on experience. Well, this is exactly what this museum located in Oregon offers to the audience. Open from Tuesdays to Sundays from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm, the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry keeps updating its exhibitions in order to create an educational resource from everyone. The main idea is to help the visitors to strengthen skills like critical thinking, problem solving and collaboration.
There are exhibits for every age and the most famous ones are the Chemistry Laboratory and the Curium. On the first one, kids get to experience how exactly it is to be on a lab and what it feels to stear and measure different concoctions. The second one is more focus on playing instruments and find new rhythms. But if you are looking for more experiences, the Epicenter is always fun. You will be able to prepare yourself and others for an earthquake.

Whether you visit all the collections or just some of them, this experience will create a deeper connection between you and science. The current exhibition called Exquisite Creatures is the perfect example of how important is to connect with our environment. You will find biodiversity through a wide collection of butterflies displayed here and you will understand how important it is to think about preserving these organisms.
