Old Jerusalem Restaurant is perhaps one of my favorite places to eat in the Chicago area. This is the first place that I ever tried falafel and I instantly fell in love. If you are unfamiliar, falafel is essentially deep-fried patties of chickpeas.

Not only is the food here great, but the prices are super affordable. You get a very generous quantity of food while not breaking the bank. One of my favorite parts about this restaurant is its authenticity. If you are looking for an authentic Middle Eastern restaurant, this is the place for you! All of the chefs are experts in creating this cuisine.
