Connect to your family’s history through genealogy research and workshops offered in the library and State Archives.
While visiting the Ohio History Center, here are just a few of the adventures you can have:
Bring the whole family for a fun, interactive day filled with exhibits exploring everything from life in the 1950s to extinct and endangered Ohio species to an exquisite collection of restored Civil War battle flags.
Ohio Village: From Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend, Ohio Village is open the same hours as the Ohio History Center! During this time, Ohio Village, our recreated 19th-century community, is included with general admission to the Ohio History Center. During the summer, stroll through the village or stop by to see the Ohio Village Muffins play base ball by 19th-century rules. After the summer season, Ohio Village is open for Signature Events, such as All Hallows' Eve and Dickens of a Christmas!
