Washtenaw County's historic preservation program is dedicated to supporting local historic districts, spurring heritage tourism, and attracting investment in our historic resources.

Milton was the son of prosperous farmers Watson and Mary Geer, and grandson of Esek Pray. Kittie Kimmel was the daughter of pioneer Henery Kimmel, who proposed the name "Superior" for the township in 1831.

The Geer House is one of the finest examples of Italianate style architecture in the County.

The historic resources on this driving tour are private property and meant to be enjoyed from the public right-of-way. Please do not trespass.
