Meteorite

623 Pecan St Helena

Helena Museum of Phillips County
Written By Helena Museum of Phillips County

This meteorite fell in the back yard of Mrs. S.D. Engles home on Biscoe Street in 1913. When it was originally recovered, it measured 4 feet across and 2.5 feet deep. However, “souvenirs” have been chipped from it over the years, shrinking it to its current size.
