The Times Square Alliance is proud to continue to work to improve and promote Times Square, so that it retains the creativity, energy and edge that have made it an icon for entertainment, culture and urban life for over a century.
The McDonald's that blazes its name onto the facade of Times Square is more of a high-quality retro restaurant than the classic fast food joint known around America. Designed by Irwin Kruger and built by Beyer Blinder Belle Architects of New York, the building has exposed brickwork and theatrical lighting that fit right in with its Broadway neighbors. However, the impressive part is the interior.
With two floors, an ever-changing mural and a variety of sculptures both inside and out, the McDonalds at Times Square has been designated the fanciest McDonald's in New York.
