Disney’s Magic Kingdom has earned its reputation as The Most Magical Place on Earth. Since 1971, this iconic amusement park has been bringing joy to visitors from around the world. From your first glimpse of Cinderella’s castle to the final moments of the nightly light show, you’ll be enchanted by the magic of Disney. The theme park is divided into six areas: Main Street, U.S.A., Adventureland, Frontierland, Liberty Square, Fantasyland, and Tomorrowland. All six sections of the park are filled with family-friendly rides & attractions, casual dining options, and places where you can meet your favorite Disney characters. Be sure to bring an autograph book or pick one up at a souvenir shop for some silly signatures.
Keep your eyes open for Hidden Mickeys, which can be found hidden in the park’s rides and attractions. One guest, Steve Barrett, has found more than one thousand of them throughout the Walt Disney World Resorts which he documented in his book “Hidden Mickeys: A Field Guide to Walt Disney World’s Best Kept Secrets.”
Steve Barrett shares five of his favorite Hidden Mickeys in the Magic Kingdom:
The park is open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., but guests at participating hotels can enjoy rides and attractions for an extra hour in the morning and two extra hours on select evenings.
