The nightclub was originally home to the Tropigala Lounge, formally known as La Ronde Room in the 1950s and 1960s. Famous performers including Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., Ann Miller, Elvis Presley, and Tony Bennet all once performed at the nightclub. Consistently ranked one of the top nightclubs in the world, and continues to redefine Miami nightlife.
After undergoing a $10 million renovation ahead of its tenth season in 2019, LIV's new design features vibrant LED lighting, spacious layouts, and state-of-the-art technology to enhance the going out experience. LIV's iconic dome and steel truss, called "The Spider," which has over 400 individual screens, four full-service bars, dance floor large enough to hold 1000 people, exclusive valet service, and private VIP entrance are what make it one of the best nightclubs in the city of Miami.
Today, many top-tier artists such as Gucci Mane, DJ Khaled, Travis Scott, Skrillex, and Lil Wayne are invited to perform at LIV on a nightly basis, further encompassing the style, fame, and glamour of the club.
Dress code is strictly enforced. Guys are expected to wear a button-down shirt, dress pants, or dark jeans and shoes. No ripped jeans, shorts, polo shirts, T-shirts or tennis shoes are allowed. For ladies, dresses, or a skirt/ pants with a blouse and heels are acceptable. Buy tickets online for admission to all events.
