If you're a fan of flashy clubs, big speakers, and exciting dance floors, this is the place for you. LIV is located in the Fontainbleau Hotel in Miami Beach. It's a trendy place where you might spot a celebrity.
LIV recently received a $10 million dollar makeover. The venue now spans 18,000 square feet. The club seeks to be ahead of the curve. It has an innovative 360-degree experience that is uncommon for most front-facing clubs.
One of the most exciting features is the 400-screen "Spider." The Spider creates a unique experience that covers much of the dancing area.
LIV hosts artists from a number of different genres including electronic, hip hop, and Latin. Upcoming electronic artists include Robin Schulz, Tritonal, and Zedd. Other acts you might see include Jonas Blue, Nacho, and Quavo.
LIV is a high-end place and you'll likely have to pay a cover charge to get in. Covers usually start at around $20 and can get as high as $100 for men on some nights. Contact LIV ahead of time to get the price for whatever artist you're planning on seeing. While bar access isn't usually too much of a problem, it might be due to the price of the drinks. An adult beverage can cost upward of $20!
Anecdotally, it can sometimes be difficult to get in, so dress to impress. The official dress code even includes your footwear—no flats (for ladies), sandals, flipflops or athletic sneakers. If you're really set on dancing the night away, consider booking a room at the hotel. You can also talk to the hotel concierge to ask about special packages.
