The Legion of Honor museum was made as a smaller scale replica of the Palais de la Légion d'Honneur in Paris. This museum holds 4,000 years of history with a heavy European art section.

There are many different genres of art here that range from political to historical to even ancient art pieces. If you'd like to learn a little more, I would recommended joining in on one of the VIP tours offered. Your expert guide will be able to answer all of your questions as well as offer interesting facts about both the paintings and the artists. To make things even better, this museum overlooks the Golden Gate Bridge!
