Lazy Duck Brewing is a small batch brewing company that focuses on producing hoppy beers and fruity sours. Tucked inside an industrial park, visitors describe the gathering space "like you're drinking in your homebrewer friend's garage."
Lazy Duck Brewery is an excellent option if you're a craft beer fan looking for a vast assortment of small-batch brews. Around San Jose, the tasting room is known for its exceptional sours, stouts, and IPAs. Many guests decide to try a flight of all six beers that they have available on tap.
If you stop by to sample a beer or try a flight, be sure to ask the bartender about their unique brewing techniques. Some of their craft beers have been produced with fresh fruit. Cherry Lime Quack, Strawberry Quack, Blackberry Quack, and Crandied Orange Quack are just a few of their infused beer blends. The strawberry and blackberry sours are always fan favorites.
Lazy Duck's vibe is very laid back. Brewery regulars come to enjoy a flight, play one of their many board games, and relax at their two communal picnic tables. Onsite, only chips are available for purchase for light snacking. However, bringing outside food is always encouraged. The brewery is also dog-friendly.
Lazy Duck Brewing's taproom hours are Fridays from 4 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.
