It is not a secret for anyone that the United States is famous for the beautiful skylines that all the cities have. Atlanta is definitely one of the most popular ones with the triangular-topped trio of Bank of America Plaza, SunTrust Plaza, and One Atlantic Center, as well as the cylindrical Westin Peachtree Plaza. Skyscrapers and mid-rise buildings are part of the iconic go-to vista. Visitors from around the world tend to photograph this gorgeous skyline from different angles, but one of the best ones is definitely from Jackson Street Bridge.
The bridge provides a unique view that overlooks Freedom Parkway. It was a hidden gem until the horror series “Walking Dead” featured it in an iconic scene. The place suddenly became so popular that locals and tourists use it as a spot for a wonderful picture to share on Instagram. During the sunset, most photographs are taken because of the beautiful colors in the sky, but it is also very common at nightime- the lights of the skyscrapers are simply gorgeous.
There are different ways to get here. If you are driving, there is an option for you to park your car and get a great selfie. If you are biking, you will love the lane that was designed just for that. And if you are walking, you will also enjoy it because it is really safe, especially when the traffic is moderate (at mid-day and mid-evening). And no matter what the weather is, the view won't ever disappoint you!
