ImaginOn: The Joe and Joan Martin Center is a collaborative venture of Charlotte Mecklenburg Library and the Children's Theater of Charlotte located in Charlotte, North Carolina. This 102,000-square-foot (9,500 m2) landmark learning center opened on October 8, 2000. ImaginOn was designed by Gantt Huberman Architects and Holzman Moss Bottino Architecture, and is owned by the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library. ImaginOn hosts various programs to bring people of all ages into the world of performing arts. The StoryLab is a collection of interactive multimedia workstations that explore the art of narrative. Studio gives people access to an audio/video recording studio. They have two performance spaces, the McColl Family Theater and the Wells Fargo Playhouse.

Did you know?

ImaginOn is notable as the first LEED-certified public facility in Mecklenburg County. ImaginOn is certified as a 'green' building at the silver level by the U.S. Green Building Council.
