Located in the historic downtown Charleston, Husk produces unique, Southern-inspired dishes in new ways. Executive Chef Travis Grimes transmits the flavors of the Lowcountry into each of his dishes for every restaurant-goer to experience the cuisine of the surrounding coastal area.
With a menu that is constantly changing depending on the region's producers, Husk specializes in fresh and local dishes that will bring you the tastes of the Lowcountry. A changing menu dependent on the region allows Husk to consistently incorporate local vegetables, fruits, cheese, seafood, and other meats into their cuisine. The current menu is full of delicious, Charleston-inspired fare like Fire-Roasted White Stone Oysters, Spade & Clover Shishitos, Crispy Fried Quail, Heritage Pork, Crispy Catfish, and Atlantic Group. You can top off your dinner order with a skillet of Real Cornbread with bacon crumble for the table.
A wide variety of local suppliers have their products featured on the Husk menu. Husk proudly works with growers and purveyors in the Charleston region to really give their dishes a taste of the surrounding area. Suppliers like Grow Food Carolina (vegetables), Filli-West Farms (turkeys, hens, and eggs), Joseph Fields Farm (jams, fruits, and vegetables), Jam Beverage Company (hand-crafted drinking vinegar), and several others featuring products from honey to salt and baked goods to chocolate.
