Homemade chocolate and family time were two of Paul Hoffman’s great loves – and these beautiful things inspired him to create Hoffman’s Chocolates, originally located in Lake Worth, Florida. He dedicated his company to using only the best ingredients, century-old chocolate-making traditions, and the sweetness of homespun deliciousness into one location – Hoffman’s Chocolates, which happens to be one of the best places to chill out in Palm Beach, Florida.
The shop in Palm Beach is one of several chocolate and ice cream shops in Florida – and all the delicious decadence you could want on a lazy summer afternoon can be scooped up, tasted, or boxed up to save for later. The shop started in 1975 when Hoffman purchased a small candy shop in Lake Worth, Florida. In 2012, Hoffman’s family – with friends from BBX Capital – agreed to grow the business and the legacy of their father by introducing the deliciousness to the rest of South Florida and beyond.
When you pop in, you'll be able to try a host of goodies. Fan favorites include assortments of dark and milk chocolates, chocolate cigars, chocolate-covered animal crackers, milk chocolate pretzel bites, gourmet truffles, seasonal goodies, and amazing chocolate gifts for all occasions. Hoffman’s Chocolates also gives back to the community through a variety of fundraisers and donation drives, including Operation Candy Corn – donating old Halloween costumes rewarded with a thank you sundae. And while you’re there, be sure to take a factory tour. You’ll be rewarded with new knowledge behind the most desirable treat around along with a video presentation on the history of chocolate, and – best of all – a sample of the goods made at Hoffman’s.
