Downtown Brooklyn is a hub for innovation, culture + creativity. We spread the neighborhood love for local businesses, residents and visitors. Represent BK!

Whether you’re coming or going, laying out on our lush lawns, visiting Jane’s Carousel or being a shutterbug, this go-to location, nestled between the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges, is not to be missed.

Relax at Empire Fulton Ferry, a green oasis set against a scenic cityscape that just begs to be photographed. Located between the historic Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridges, Empire Fulton Ferry features the beautifully restored Jane’s Carousel, a gift of Jane and David Walentas. From its graceful lawns and boardwalk, Empire Fulton Ferry offers beautiful views of the harbor and Lower Manhattan skyline.

Bordering the park area are Empire Stores and Tobacco Warehouse, the new home of St. Ann’s Warehouse. These two Civil War-era buildings played an integral part in the great shipping activities that once dominated this portion of the Brooklyn waterfront. Empire Stores also hosts BHS DUMBO, the second location of the Brooklyn Historical Society.
