The High Roller at the LINQ Hotel currently holds the title of the world’s tallest observation wheel. At 550-feet tall, it is nine feet higher than the second-place contender in Singapore. The wheel moves slowly, taking approximately half an hour to turn. That gives riders time to find the ideal opportunity to view the Vegas strip below and maybe capture the perfect picture.
Tickets cost $25 for an adult during the day, and the price increases a bit during nighttime hours (prices subject to change). If you want to elevate your party even higher, choose a Happy Half Hour car. This option is available in the daytime or at night and includes an open bar. If you want to keep the party going, this is your best bet. The only alcohol allowed on the High Roller is what they provide for you. No outside drinks are allowed unless you are booking a private event. The YouTube video below gives a brief view of the Happy Half Hour ride on the High Roller:
Don’t worry if you are partying with a lot of friends. The pods are huge. About 40 people fit comfortably into each compartment. Another piece of good news is that if you are on your way to Vegas for that matrimony ceremony and the Elvis chapel is booked, weddings are allowed in the cabins. Imagine the response on Instagram of your Vegas ceremony with a birds-eye backdrop of the Vegas strip at night!
