Hayes Valley San Francisco

Hi! I'm Claire an avid traveler and Digital Nomad. At 34 I sold all my worldly possessions that wouldn’t fit into 3 boxes or in my backpack and hit the road.

If you want to know where the hipsters hang out in San Francisco, it's Hayes Valley. This cute area isn't on most tourists radar but it should be. There may not be a ton of things to do here. But if you like sipping on expensive coffee while eating smashed avocado on toast and people watching, here you will be in hipster heaven.

Over the last couple of years, the independent coffee shop scene has exploded in San Francisco especially in Hayes Valley. If you want the best coffee inSan Francisco (in my opinion) you will find it at Ritual Coffee Roasters. Ritual started life as a pop-up shop in a shipping container. These days it is a full-on coffee lovers heaven. They even offer coffee tastings and cuppings to take your coffee-loving to another level. Be warned though you may have a little wait if you want to sit in as it does get very busy.
