When reading the name of this place, you might think about a vintage shop where you can leave your shoes and someone will take care of them while giving them a brand-new look. Well, if that was your guess, there is more to this. It is a first-class shoe repair inside of a speakeasy with a nineteenth-century commercial style that you won't find easy to walk in. Just to give you a hint: check out their Twitter account for the password: @hansonsshoeshop. You can either drop your shoes or go to the bar for a great cocktail and a fun night!
Check out this video to see more about Hanson's Shoe Repair:
Located above NV Art Bar on Pine Street, it is one of the oldest buildings in Downtown, Orlando. Once you are in, the decoration will transport you to the 1800s and will make you feel like on a cobbler’s shop where you will find a foot made of wood used as a holding device to exhibit shoes, as well as vintage frames hanging on all the walls.
This place has a fun atmosphere with great music and an intimate ambiance perfect for a date. Whether you sit on the bar or step outside on their patio, your experience at Hanson's Shoe Repair will be great. Make sure to check their Prohibition-era-inspired cocktails with a focus on bourbon. Four Roses Single Barrel, Prichard's Double Barrel, and Hirsch 20-year are the go-to. But don't worry if you want to try something different, there are more options like wine or beer.
