From the streets of Manhattan to Chicago's stomach

Halal Guys started in NYC as a food cart back in 1990. With a simple vision to serve halal meals, the restaurant quickly amassed a lot of customers. Since then, Halal Guys has grown to five food carts and two restaurants in NYC. With a recent expansion, they’re now in Chicago! Chicago welcomed them enthusiastically in a busy opening day, with a line extending out of the restaurant and along two neighboring storefronts.

Halal guys serves beef gyros or chicken (Feeling adventurous? Get both!) as the base. Pick your favorite extras on a rolled-up pita sandwich or a platter with rice. Top it off with their famous white sauce, red sauce, or both, and you’ve got a very tasty meal.
