As you enter the door you will see that they "celebrate the hospitality and beauty of the Southside, through delicious food, great coffee, and the joy of discovering community." Greenline coffee aims to do just this as they open their shop's doors to anyone who would like to enter. With vintage black and white photos of Woodlawn, they aim to show the history of the community and protect it.

How they're bettering the community: As an coffee shop run by Sunshine Enterprises, an affiliate of Sunshine Gospel Ministries, Greenline coffee follows similar missions of inclusion and acceptance. Many of their employees are hired through the ministries' summer jobs and youth outreach programs. Although they can't provide jobs to everyone, they hope to provide the skills necessary for youth to be successful workers and people in the community to be successful entrepreneurs.

What to get: "Plain" sugar waffles with your choice of berries, bananas, nutella, whipped cream, etc. Imported from Belgium.
