Grand County Courthouse

“The lower photo captures a moment when three Early Grant County courthouses stood side-by-side. The first courthouse, built in 1878, is on the lower far-right. Officials had transplanted it from the nearby ski hill. In 1901, county officials then built a formal courthouse, the large middle building. Decades later, the county demolished it to allow for the expansion of what now is the Grand County Administration Building. The newest and fourth Grand County courthouse, built in 2008, is located behind the government building and has not shown.” ‘Go Grand,’ Kristi Martens
