“The Juror” & “The Lawyers” by pat oliphant

Pat Oliphant is an Australian-American editorial cartoonist, whose works offer a witty and penetrating view of American politics.

Throughout his fifty-year career he has caricatured ten U.S. presidents, and his works have won him the Pulitzer Prize, the Thomas Nast Prize, and the Reuben Award (seven times), among others. Oliphant’s works have also been exhibited in a variety of exhibitions including, most notably, at the National Portrait Gallery, as well as a permanent collection in the New Mexico Museum of Art in Santa Fe, and several of his cartoons are currently preserved in the Library of Congress.
