The Kohen Courtroom was made possible by a generous gift from Bruce Kohen '79. It was the highest-tech courtroom to be built in a law school at the time, enabling Chicago-Kent to offer Litigation Technology as one of the course offerings making up our exemplary trial advocacy training. Many law schools with lower ranked Trial Ad programs have more courtrooms for students to practice in than Chicago-Kent. The Kohen Courtroom is an integral part of Chicago-Kent's strength in trial advocacy.
Like the Marovitz Courtroom, the Kohen Courtroom is designed to be used for competitions, student practice, and community-engaging events.
