“The Insider's Guide” Of Where To Go And What To Do In Chicago
This modern coffee shop takes a fresh approach to decorating while keeping its coffee classic.
Everybody’s Coffee is a name that rings true: the menu has something for all tastes and preferences you may have. For the more adventurous, they have specialty drinks, such as The Vader, which combines Mexican Coca-Cola, vanilla, and espresso. If you’re more of a traditional coffee drinker, don’t worry, they also serve staples such as classic lattes and americanos. Breakfast bagel sandwiches and grits are also available for when you need that extra bit of energy.
The interior is a wide open space filled with natural light, thanks to the floor-to-ceiling windows. It’s a great place to study or hold a meeting because the room is very spacious, with plenty of beautiful, lacquered wood tables to spread out on. They also have free Wifi so you can get your work done. The art changes fairly frequently because the coffee house also doubles as a gallery, which keeps the place feeling fresh and exciting. During the warmer weather days, you can enjoy your beverage on their outdoor patio.
They sell Fair and Direct Trade coffee because they believe in sustainability that starts with the farmers and the land they tend. Supporting local projects is something they’re passionate about, and they also have seasonal specials from different places around the world. Everybody's Coffee also has some board games for patrons to play if you have some time to kill or want to keep your kids entertained.
The New York Times and Conde Nast Traveler have recommended the coffee shop, with NYT placing it on its Five Places to Go in Chicago list, and Conde Nast adding it to their list of the 14 best coffee shops in Chicago. In 2016, Time Out Chicago voted them to be the best coffee shop in Uptown/Andersonville.
Everybody’s Coffee is open seven days a week for all of your caffeine needs. They open at 7 AM every day and close at 7 PM, except on Sundays when they close at 5 PM.
