“Fiber” is a permanent, site-specific mural project located in the Creston Neighborhood of Grand Rapids. Inspired by contemporary design elements and the furniture store that currently resides at the location, "Fiber" is comprised of an arrangement of patterns, inspired primarily by textiles, textures, processes and their evolution.. These modular visual components have a sense of individuality as part of a whole due to the individual contributor’s hand as well as the neighborhood and city surrounding it. The color scheme is influenced by natural materials and elements as a nod to the most original form of design inspiration.
