“The Insider's Guide” Of Where To Go And What To Do In Chicago
Eden Chicago, just as the name defines, is a garden of fresh products with a touch of contemporary American cuisine. Their focus lies in fresh, clean and sustainable ingredients from local farmers or a greenhouse from their backyard. Their website lists all of the fresh produce that they are growing at the time, providing the customers with nothing but home-grown ingredients for exquisite dishes.
They offer a private dining space, an interactive Chef’s counter, and a bar with garden-themed craft cocktails. Chef Devon Quinn is a Michigan native and the executive chef here. The roots of fresh produce were influenced by his childhood, remembering how the taste of fresh and local ingredients brought the dining experience to a new level. Since then, it was his mission to create fresh ingredients as the foundation of Eden when it opened in 2016. Chef’s counter is a unique Eden experience with five courses paired with wine and is available Wednesday through Saturday. They also offer a vegetarian menu that rotates as the season's change, along with the day’s freshest products. This intimate dining experience takes a closer taste to modern-American cuisine.
Eden is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays but is open the rest of the week at 5 PM. On Sundays, they host a brunch from 10 AM to 2 PM but are closed for dinner. It is recommended, though, to make a reservation at this popular restaurant. Eden has been named a Michelin Guide restaurant and has been mentioned by local press, such as Chicago Eater and Chicago Tribune.
